#1 Sandstone Point is a gorgeous choice for an epic first look or Elopement. You can also host your intimate elopement or micro wedding ceremony on this stunning point. #2 Cove Beach is just a 3 minute drive from sweeping landscape of Sandstone Point. It is another wonderful photo location or elopement ceremony site. This private beach boasts pristine views of Arch Rock and can be seen from the Lookout House. It is also a great location for a Welcome Party and Bonfire! There is a grassy spot on a little knoll that would be perfect for a dinner table set up.

#3 Arch Rock Main Lawn

Just 2 minutes down the road is Arch Rock Main Lawn, which is the primary location for large weddings of up to 300 guests!

It has on-site restrooms, incredible seasonal flowers, amazing views of Arch Rock, tall shade trees, bistro lighting, the ruins of the original fireplace from the old homestead, and a built in cement dance floor. This location is perfect for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and all the events of the reception!

Be sure to sneak back to Sandstone Point or Cove Beach for some spectacular Golden Hour or Dusk Photos! At certain times of year, you will get some stunning golden light coming right through the trees onto the dance floor. (AND....I hear rumors that there will soon be a permanent covered space available at this location too! Stay tuned!)

New Indoor Oregon Coast Wedding Venue Holds 50 Guests

#6 The newest venue, Mervue Estate, was added in 2024 and can hold up to 50 guests. It has dramatic windows that bring elegant drama and light to your indoor reception, a fireplace and a vast outside deck with stunning views for cocktail hour! We are definitely looking forward to shooting some weddings in this fresh new location!

Best Time To Get Married at Crook Point

May through October is definitely my first suggestion for weddings at Crook Point. However, the Oregon Coast has many beautiful moments in all seasons! One of the many benefits of Crook Point as your wedding venue is the secluded location and privacy it offers on this estate. Here are a few considerations:

  1. Spring (April to June):
    • Weather: Mild temperatures with occasional rain showers, wind and fog.
  2. Summer (July to September):
    • Weather: Warm and sunny days, perfect for beach ceremonies and outdoor activities.

Regardless of the season, the Oregon Coast is unpredictable and you should have an indoor backup plan for all seasons. We always recommend having a light sweater or jacket for the evenings, even on good weather days, as the ocean breeze can add a slight chill. Some Brides have worn fur coats or shawls as an elegant way to stay warm. Inquire about Crook Points outdoor space heaters!

Make a 3 day wedding weekend out of your stay and explore the Redwoods and many beautiful Oregon beaches nearby!
