Wedding Journey and Personal Touches
This September Southern Oregon Wedding at A River House in Grants Pass was simply stunning! There were so many customized elements to Staci and Dan's Wedding Day. 3 first looks, stunning florals, a live painter, a wedding writer, toasts and speeches, special dances, a bouquet dedication to the Bride's mom, customized sunglasses for all their guests that had their table number, a vintage trailer mobile drink bar, family style catering, and so much more!
Just 2 months before their wedding, Staci, slipped and fell getting out of the shower, tore multiple ligaments in her knee and severed the tendon in her leg along with several other injuries. But they decided to continue on with their wedding plans despite this difficult setback.
The A River House is a very accessible wedding Venue. Their Staff was also super helpful through the wedding day driving Staci and Dan where they needed to go with the Golf Cart and moving her walker and wheel chair at times.

A First Look with Dad and Personalized Gifts
Staci and her father enjoyed a first look together where Staci presented him with a customized tie that had her favorite photo of them on the back. She also gifted him a handkerchief that read,
"Of all the walks we've taken, this one is my favorite. You'll always be my hero and I'll always be your little girl".
When we did our discovery call with Staci, she wasn't quite sure if she needed a videographer. But in the end, she booked us because she realized we would have audio of all the key people and moments she wanted for her memories. Her father had just gotten the diagnosis that his cancer had returned and Staci wanted to be sure we captured their first look, him walking her down the aisle, the speech that he gave and their special dance together.
Including their Fur Baby
Another key moment of this day was Gus, their dog, who unexpectedly passed away just a few months after their wedding.... Gus and Staci enjoyed a first look together, Gus got walked down the aisle by some of Staci's girls who she considers her daughters, and he took a front row seat at the feet of Staci's brother for the ceremony.

A Special Gift for Mom
Staci thought out every detail of this day with great detail. She knew what she wanted and every dream was realized with the amazing vendor team for support. It was a fantastic day! This precious moment with her mom was one of the many surprises during the day. Staci commissioned the live painter to created this beautiful 4 generations art piece for her mom. It features Staci in her wedding dress surrounded by the strong women in her family, her mother, her grandmother and her great grandmother all in their wedding dresses.
Later that evening, she dedicated her bouquet to her mother and invited all the mothers and daughters to come out on the dance floor and join her and her mom in a special dance.

As Wedding Videographers, we have a TON of gear to bring day-of and we felt so taken care of by this venue. AND it's absolutely gorgeous to film at! They provided us with a special room to keep the myriad of cameras and gear safe while we worked! This venue literally has it all!
One of our things we try to do for ceremonies is hide our cameras out of the way of the photographer as much as possible. This venue has so many awesome options for good vantage points for our tripods. See below!
